Lo jodido de estar despierto entre semana a las 5am es que puedes acabar viéndote desde fuera y haciéndote un auto-análisis (esto es una forma de ansiedad, según dicen) y darte cuenta de la cantidad de pajas mentales que llevas hechas hasta el momento y del número de orgasmos que estas te han brindado hasta el minuto actual. Entiéndase por orgasmos, claro está, apretarle las tuercas a la 'inteligencia' hasta que ésta llega a dar la vuelta y se junta con la estupidez y todo acaba en forma de explosión craneal y reset mental.

Por otra parte, no me creerían si les contara las competiciones que hay a estas horas por unos tragos de vino tinto. Y eso teniendo en cuenta que en este laberinto sí hay luz. Lo del velo de alquitrán en la mirada es una historia que quizá cuente otra madrugada.

OASIS fan Ben Hayes knows what it's like to have a rock and roll star play in his front room - after Noel Gallagher dropped by for a special gig.

Noel played three Oasis classics - Don't Look Back in Anger, Half the World Away and The Importance of Being Idle - during the acoustic set which went out live on Radio 1.

Chef Ben, from Poynton, Stockport, won a competition for a rock legend to perform from his house by clinching a tie-breaker question during the Chris Moyles breakfast show.

Ben, 22, said: "Since then the whole thing has just been totally unreal.

"I was allowed to invite my mum and dad, brother and sister over for the session, and we all spent the weekend going out buying new gear for the occasion.

"I have loved Oasis since they first started out, but never met any of the band in person.

"To have Noel playing and singing in your own front room is just absolutely incredible.

"Opening the front door and seeing him there on the doorstep is something I will never, ever forget.

"He said `Hello', shook my hand and walked in like a mate.

"When he'd done the session he seemed quite at home chatting to everybody.

"He signed all my Oasis albums, my guitar and even gave me the plectrum he'd used for the broadcast."

The Manchester-born songwriter spent more than two hours at the Hayes' home in Abbey Court before heading on his way.

He even took time out to teach Ben how to strum a few chords from the band's 1995 hit Wonderwall.

Ben and girlfriend Kate Silvers were still celebrating with a Champagne Supernova hours later.

The performance capped a week of Radio 1 Live Lounge sessions in which stars including The Kooks, the Lostprophets and the Ordinary Boys played from locations which meant something to them.

Radio 1's Jo Whiley, who broadcast her entire show from Ben's living room, said: "It was a pretty amazing show.

"Noel said it was like performing a gig in Brookside and I think he really enjoyed it.

"Ben's mum served up the most delicious croissants and cups of tea and it was a real change from the Radio 1 studio.

"The whole crew had a great time. At one stage we had about 15 people packed into the living room with the neighbours listening in at the windows."

Ben, who has been to nine Oasis concerts, won the competition after naming the band's three drummers - Tony McCarroll, Alan White and Zak Starkey.

Se sueña con la dicha constante, pero por lo que a mí respecta no es más que una sarta de gilipolleces. No hay ningún estatus nin ningún absoluto.
El dolor, en cierto sentido, es como la comida, o la vida; dolor y dicha. Entran al cuerpo y, a menos que lo sientas o lo expreses, se queda dentro como una especie de estreñimiento. No puedes librarte del dolor. No hay escapatoria, está ahí, en alguna parte de tu cuerpo. Saldrá con los nervios o con los cigarrillos que fumes o con lo que hagas, te quedarás calvo, o lo que sea. Se expresa de alguna manera. Es imposible librarse.
Creo que cada día pasamos por el cielo y el infierno; tenemos que hacernos a la idea. Sentir es vivir. En la vida se sienten todo tipo de cosas. Cada día es igual: un poco de cielo y un poco de infierno. No hay ningún día de dicha absoluta. Hay días mejores y días peores, y creo que cada día tiene un poco de todo. Es como el yin y el yang, o como quieras llamarlo. Es ambos.
